Perform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction for expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by Superintendent and/or Foreman.

What You'll Do

.

• Read Plans, Site Plans and Tower Drawings.
• Install, connect and test ground systems.
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing, and mobilizing staff, materials to meet schedule.
• Ensure Foreman is apprised of construction progress, concerns, and deviations from plans or established schedule.
• Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project.
• Identify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer’s inspection.
• Maintain and enforce all Gridwire and OSHA safety practices, perform daily job-site safety inspections on equipment prior to operation.
• Work with Construction Supervisor and Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.
• Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete all aspects of Gridwire's training classes.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

The Tower Technician III is expected to perform wireless installations as well as test, analyze, and troubleshoot problems within the wireless network with minimal guidance for tasks performed. They will have a strong working knowledge of LTE, GSM, and UMTS platforms as well as highly skilled duties related to installation, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems as related to equipment installation and failure. Performs antenna sweeps, frequency spectrum sweeps and maintains site configuration data using computer software and digital photography. Routinely works with all outside installation contractors and departments within the company to complete work assignments on all equipment to include microwave, antennas, towers, coax cabling and associated equipment.

What you'll do

• Follow proper safety procedures when using electrical test and communications equipment and OSHA Safety standards
• Evaluate the job sites and communications equipment, and secure and protect as required
• Knowledge of sector/antenna configurations with respect to jumper and coax routing, RET settings and cabling, and fiber routing
• Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep
• Proficient testing and working with Fiber
• Follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform maintenance on equipment
• Interpret the alarm conditions on the network and implement repairs and restoration plans to ensure minimal service disruption and impact to customer

The Foreman will be responsible for performing wireless installations as well as test, analyze and troubleshoot problems within the wireless network with minimal guidance for tasks performed. They routinely work with all outside installation contractors and departments within the company to complete work assignments on all equipment to include microwave, antennas, towers, coax cabling and associated equipment. They develop and maintain a positive company image and provide a strong example for crew members for quality, safety, and professionalism.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage a group of 2-3 crew members and mentor junior team members.
• Follow proper safety procedures when using electrical test and communications equipment.
• Evaluate the job sites and communications equipment, and secures and protects as required Knowledge of antennas and polarization patterns and factors affecting bandwidth and gain/loss of antennas and spectrums.
• Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep.
• Follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform maintenance on equipment.
• Interpret the alarm conditions on the network and implement repairs and restoration plans to ensure minimal service disruption and impact to the customer.
• Perform antenna sweeps, frequency spectrum sweeps and maintains site configuration data using computer software and digital photography.
